简 介
《追逐繁星的孩子》（日语：星を追う子ども -Children Who Chase Lost Voices from Deep Below-），是日本导演新海诚继《秒速5厘米》之后新制作的一部动画电影，于2011年5月7日在日本公开上映。蓝光与DVD于2011年11月25日在日本开始发售。
故 事
有一天，少女明日菜从父亲遗物里的矿石收音机中听到不可思议的音乐。那如人心灵般的音乐，令明日菜难以忘怀。在前往山丘的途中，明日菜被怪异的怪兽所袭击，并被一名叫瞬的少年所救。瞬是为了看见一直想要遇见到的人和物，从遥远的雅戈泰而来。就在两人日渐心灵相通之时，瞬突然于明日菜的生命里面消失了。
明日菜被告知哀痛的消息后，学校的新任教师森崎龙司于校里讲述了有关地下世界的神话。那里隐藏的秘密，就是所谓实现愿望的地方，被称为雅戈泰。在此同时，明日菜面前出现了跟瞬长得一模一样的少年，还有一众追捕少年的人。那些人们的狙击是为了得到那通往雅戈泰之钥匙——歌薇丝。正当走到末路之时，少年和明日菜面前通往雅戈泰的门被打开了。
之后，明日菜发现了那群男人的首领，竟然就是为了再见到死去的妻子而不断寻找雅戈泰的森崎龙司，还有那位少年原来就是瞬的弟弟心。 站在雅戈泰的入口前，明日菜暗地许下了决定：“想要再一次，见到那个人。”
特殊名词介绍
歌薇丝
特殊矿石的结晶，是打开雅戈泰世界入口的钥匙。由于使用者不同而出现形形色色的效果。
在世界存在数个，电影中出现的是其中两个。歌薇丝是拉丁语中钥匙的意思。
雅戈泰
地下的神秘世界。2万年前跟克查尔特一起潜入地下的氏族到现在仍在雅戈泰生活。
由于在雅戈泰仍存在已经消失的神明的智慧，地上的帝王和皇帝们为追逐雅戈泰的智慧和财宝而潜入地下世界。
但是他们每次的入侵都带来无数的战乱，无法忍受的雅戈泰人在地上和地下之间做了个大门封锁地上人的侵入。
克查尔特
在人类发祥的初期阶段出现在地上世界，给予人类精神及文化引导的神明。
在人类成长之后，部分克查尔特察觉已经完成任务，留下守卫潜入地下。长时间停留在地上的某些克查尔特由于受大气污染等原因，失去了心而变得非常凶暴。
亚得利科
含有神之子的动物，其真面目是克查尔特精神的一部分转移到动物里面的。与人类一起成长，完成任务以后生命即结束，成为克查尔特的一部分永远生存下去。
咪咪身为亚得利科的任务是引导明日菜，它在把明日菜引导到阿玛乐之后生命就结束了。
夷族
憎恶光与水、被诅咒的种族。他们憎恶雅戈泰与外界过于密切的交往，因为不能放过雅戈泰人与地上人的混血而抓走真奈和明日菜。他们不是人类，而是从地下积累的人的消极念头而衍生出像沉淀物般的存在。
谢库纳·威玛纳
在雅戈泰的空中不断巡游的一艘巨大的船，被雅戈泰的居民称作“神明之船”。
其真面目是身体上有无数眼睛，掌管着死亡的巨大克查尔特。他能打开栖息灵魂的次元雅思特拉里的入口，也能把灵魂搬运到雅思特拉里。
菲尼斯·特拉
通往雅思特拉里的雅戈泰的天涯海角。它的最下方存在克查尔特的墓场，以及相连到雅思特拉里的生死门。死亡之前的克查尔特会走到菲尼斯·特拉，透过歌声把所有的记忆寄托、留在世界里，然后逝世。
雅思特拉里
所有生命的终点。雅戈泰人认为死亡不是消失，而是融化到雅思特拉里，所以接受死亡。雅思特拉里也是没有星星的雅戈泰里唯一存在星星的世界。
