《葬送的芙莉莲》是一个颇具挑战性的项目。MADHOUSE 一如既往地抛出了熟悉的难题：过量的动噪、RGB shift 特效、欠码瑕疵，以及略显微妙的线条观感，而这一次更是慷慨地附赠了宽度不少于 4 像素、同时覆盖亮度与色度平面的边缘瑕疵。
Frieren: Beyond Journey's End turned out to be quite a challenging project. As usual, MADHOUSE presented us with a familiar set of problems: excessive temporal grain, RGB shift effects, blocking artifacts, and somewhat odd-looking line art. This time, they also generously included border artifacts no less than 4 pixels wide, affecting both the luma and chroma planes.
在压倒性的作画质量与水彩画艺术风格面前，过度的瑕疵修复无异于破坏原作。因此，我们调整了后期处理的逻辑，通过增加处理步骤、降低每一步的强度来抑制副作用，尽可能还原细节。
We were well aware that with such overwhelming animation quality and a watercolor artistic style, aggressive artifact removal could be potentially very damaging. To address this, we revised our post-processing strategy—adding more processing steps while reducing the intensity of each one—to minimize side effects and preserve as much detail as possible.
本片使用 AI 滤镜对欠码区域与弱线条进行了针对性修复，噪点层在高低频及动静分离之后进行自适应处理，同时辅以反锯齿、去振铃与补偿性锐化等常规操作。
Targeted fixes were applied to repair blocking artifacts and weak lines caused by bitrate limitations, using AI-based filters. The grain layer was processed adaptively after separating high/low-frequency and static/dynamic components. This was followed by standard procedures such as anti-aliasing, de-ringing, and contra-sharpening.
虽然本次项目技术难度较高，但最终的呈现并未令人失望，即使隔着 BDMV 这一层媒介的束缚，我们依然能感受到制作组倾注其中的情感，尤其在《Anytime Anywhere》Special MV 中表现得尤为真挚。
While the technical complexity of this project was high, the results were ultimately satisfying. Even through the limitations of the BDMV medium, the care and love poured in by the production team could still be felt—especially in the Anytime Anywhere Special MV, which stood out as particularly heartfelt.
