原盘总体质量不错，制作水平无愧于剧场版级别，背景纹理丰富，作画精度较高。然而受制于当年的技术条件，仍然存在一些画质问题。原盘原生分辨率为 720p，采用的拉伸算法质量不高，很多场景都能看到明显的锯齿问题，在整个画面的四周边缘也产生了多圈晕轮。我们采用逆向拉伸重构，使用高质量的拉伸算法来解决线条问题，同时也对边缘晕轮进行了专门修复。由于当年的编码能力有限，原盘大部分平面场景都或多或少有着烂噪和色块问题，对此我们进行了适度的去色块处理，然后去除烂噪并重构整个噪点层。极少数高动态的场景（比如影片开场那段樱花树），色块问题非常严重，我们针对性地进行了大力修复。
The overall quality of the source is good, with production standards worthy of a theatrical release. Background textures are rich, and the sakuga precision is high. However, due to past technical limitations, some image quality issues remain. The native resolution of the source is 720p. The applied upscaling algorithm is poor. Consequently, visible aliasing appears in many scenes, and multiple rings of haloing occur around the frame edges. We use descaling and reconstruction with a high-quality upscaling algorithm to resolve line issues. We also specifically repair the edge haloing. Due to limited encoding capabilities in the past, most flat areas in the source suffer from varying degrees of badly encoded grain and macroblocking. We apply moderate de-blocking to address this. Then, we remove the badly encoded grain and reconstruct the entire grain layer. Blocking is severe in a few high-motion scenes, such as the opening cherry blossom sequence. We perform targeted, strong repairs on these sections.
