原盘质量中等，线条问题尤其严重，制作组加入了致死量的后期锐化，造成了非常严重的晕轮问题，此外锯齿问题也时常出现。由于后期锐化，原生分辨率测试结果很不稳定，误差也非常大，难以使用逆向拉伸。最终我们选择组合多种滤镜来进行大力处理，然后通过补偿性锐化提升观感。原盘采用了先进的自适应加噪手段，在避免色带上卓有成效，不过由于原盘整体码率限制，在一些动态较高的暗场处还是存在轻度的烂噪和色带问题，对此我们采用温和的手段去除。
本作在 TV 系列播出前还曾发布过一集实验性质的 OVA 短片，本次我们一并进行了制作。由于 BD 未收录该 OVA，我们使用了 Crunchyroll 的 Web 源。OVA 与 TV 的画质差别较大，没有 TV 那惨无人道的致死量晕轮，但是原生分辨率非常不稳定，在 820~850p 之间反复横跳，此外还有 Web 码率较低导致的各种副作用。对此我们采用自适应逆向拉伸重构，配合多种常规手段尽量进行处理。
The source quality is average, with particularly severe issues on lines. The production team applied a lethal dose of sharpening in post-production, resulting in very severe haloing issues. In addition, aliasing is frequently observed. Due to the post-sharpening, the native resolution analysis results were highly unstable with large margins of error, making it difficult to utilize descaling. We eventually chose to combine multiple filters for heavy processing, followed by compensatory sharpening to improve visual presentation. The source employed advanced adaptive grain techniques, which were effective in preventing banding. However, due to the overall bitrate limitations of the source, slight grain blocking and banding still existed in some dark scenes with high motion. We addressed this using mild cleaning methods.
An experimental OVA short was released before the airing of the TV series, which we have also included in this release. Since the BD did not include this OVA, we sourced it from Crunchyroll (Web source). The image quality of the OVA differs significantly from the TV series; it lacks the inhumane, lethal amounts of haloing found in the TV version, but the native resolution is extremely unstable, fluctuating between 820p and 850p. Additionally, there are various artifacts caused by the low bitrate of the Web source. To address this, we used adaptive descaling and reconstruction, combined with various standard methods to process it as best as possible.
